Sculpture and light installation

A public artwork commissioned by the Finnish State Art Commission for the Joensuu Government Agency Building.

The piece is located in the main lobby of the office building. A human figure, suspended from the ceiling of the approximately 10-meter-high lobby space, is also visible from the upper floor balconies overlooking the lobby.

When the building is closed, the artwork is illuminated and can be seen from outside through the window. At night, together with the cloud projections, it creates a diorama-like scene.
